Commercial Photography & Creative Use Policy
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Creative Use at The Juniper
The spaces at The Juniper Motel & Resort were designed with thoughtful details, beautiful light, and a sense of quiet retreat—qualities that naturally attract photographers and creatives. We occasionally welcome approved photography sessions at the property when they align with The Juniper aesthetic and guest experience. To maintain the quality of the property and ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, commercial photography and client-based sessions must be approved in advance and follow the guidelines below.
1. Approval Required
All commercial photography, including but not limited to boudoir sessions, branding sessions, client portrait sessions, styled shoots, and content creation for paid services, must receive prior approval from The Juniper Motel & Resort. Approval is granted at the sole discretion of the owners and is based on alignment with The Juniper brand, aesthetic standards, and guest experience. Not all requests will be approved.
2. Booking Requirements
Approved photographers must book accommodations directly through The Juniper Motel & Resort and identify the reservation as a commercial photography booking at the time of reservation. Reservations for commercial photography may not be made through third-party platforms (Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, etc.).
3. Session Limits
A room reservation allows for a limited number of photography sessions per booking. A maximum of six (6) client sessions per room booking is permitted unless otherwise approved by The Juniper Motel & Resort. The number of sessions must be disclosed and approved in advance. This helps maintain a comfortable and quiet environment for all guests staying at the property.
4. Parking Guidelines
Parking at The Juniper Motel & Resort is limited. Approved commercial photography bookings must follow these guidelines:

Parking is limited to one space per booked room unless otherwise approved

Additional parking spaces must be coordinated with management in advance
Overflow parking without approval is not permitted. Failure to follow parking guidelines may result in termination of commercial use privileges.
5. Respect for Guests & Property
Photography sessions must remain contained within the booked room and approved areas. Sessions may not:

Disrupt other guests

Use other rooms or outdoor spaces without permission

Block walkways or shared areas

Create excessive noise or traffic
The Juniper Motel & Resort reserves the right to pause or stop any session that interferes with the guest experience.
6. Brand Representation
Because the property may appear in marketing materials, The Juniper Motel & Resort reserves the right to approve photographers based on professional quality of work, brand alignment, and overall aesthetic standards. Photographers whose work does not align with The Juniper brand may not be approved for commercial use of the property.
7. Promotion & Tagging
When the property is featured in social media or marketing materials:

The property name should be referenced in captions when applicable

Location tagging is required
This allows both parties to benefit from shared visibility and proper attribution.
8. Use of Juniper Images
Images and videos created by employees of The Juniper Motel & Resort while working for the property are owned by The Juniper Motel & Resort.
When working with photographers or other creators, ownership and usage rights are determined by written agreement. Unless otherwise stated in writing, The Juniper Motel & Resort does not grant permission for outside commercial use of our images.
Images taken at The Juniper Motel & Resort may not be used by photographers, influencers, or other creators on their personal websites, portfolios, social media, or in advertising without prior written approval from The Juniper Motel & Resort.
If content featuring The Juniper Motel & Resort is shared on social media, proper credit and tagging are required unless otherwise agreed in writing. Use of Juniper images does not imply ownership or automatic rights for external promotion.
9. Preferred Creative Partners
The Juniper Motel & Resort may establish preferred creative partnerships with photographers whose work aligns with the brand. Approved photographers may be considered for referrals, features, or future collaborations with Juniper guests.
10. Policy Changes
The Juniper Motel & Resort reserves the right to modify this policy at any time to ensure the guest experience and brand integrity remain protected.
Commercial Photography Request Application
This application is required for any photography or video production conducted at The Juniper Motel & Resort or featuring The Juniper property, branding, staff, or guests. Please read the Commercial Photography and Creative Use Policy.
