About Us
The Juniper Motel and Resort was purchased by a brother and sister duo who wanted a place to pour their hearts into that combines their many entrepreneurial and professional skills with years of experience in hospitality, commercial and residential cleaning, interior design and consulting, wedding planning and decorating, event management, food service, business administration, rental properties, and ministry experience—and that heart is really what this place is built on.
Our Story
The Wisconsin Dells has always been rooted in the classic American summer. Many of the original motels opened their doors in the 1950s, and they’re still part of what makes this place special. Along with our combined 10 children and 10 grandchildren, we wanted to build something meaningful together, something that fits right into that story while also moving it forward. The Juniper is once again a locally owned boutique motel, with a nod to the past, a touch of nostalgia, and a future full of possibility.
Cousins, siblings, spouses, and grandchildren offered labors of love and so many core memories have already been made as The Juniper has been renovated. You can feel that in the details, it’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that was built together. We’ve focused on what matters: clean design, modern amenities, and simple, seamless systems that don’t get in your way.
At the same time, where you stay matters just as much as how you stay. The Dells are full of energy—waterparks, attractions, crowds, and constant motion—but this sits just outside of that. Set back in a quieter, wooded setting, our family’s dream of having a place to slow down, reconnect with what really matters, and make memories without spending a fortune is now yours too—a place for new and old friends to gather, unwind, and enjoy.
More than anything, it’s something we built as a family, for families—honoring what made the Wisconsin Dells special in the first place, while creating something we’re proud to share with you. We hope you’ll stay with us and enjoy this beautiful place.
